About these terms

These terms apply when you use veteranscorps.co.uk and its private account areas. The website is operated by Pheon Agency Ltd for Veterans Corps. Separate membership rules and external provider terms may also apply to particular services.

Permitted use

You may use the website for lawful personal, membership, branch, volunteering and authorised organisational purposes. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, upload unlawful or harmful material, impersonate another person or misrepresent authority from Veterans Corps.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for information submitted through your account. Information must be accurate and kept reasonably current. Notify Headquarters promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. Access may be restricted or withdrawn where necessary to protect members, volunteers, the organisation or its systems.

No authority to deploy or represent Veterans Corps

Membership, a Community Volunteer profile or a branch role does not authorise anyone to attend an incident, self-deploy, direct others, speak for Veterans Corps or commit Veterans Corps to an arrangement. Only a formal Mobilisation Instruction issued through the authorised process permits attendance in the Veterans Corps name.

Information and capability listings

Public capability information is indicative, anonymised and subject to verification and availability. It is not an operational commitment, emergency response guarantee or instruction. Requests for support require separate assessment, agreement and mobilisation.

Intellectual property

The Veterans Corps name, emblem and original website content are owned or controlled by Pheon Agency Ltd. They may not be reproduced, altered, sold or used to imply authorisation or endorsement without written permission.

External services

Membermojo, payment providers and other linked services are operated by third parties. Their own terms apply. We are not responsible for an external service merely because this website links to it.

Availability and responsibility

We take reasonable care in operating the website but cannot guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, Pheon Agency Ltd is not responsible for loss caused by misuse, unauthorised reliance on general content, self-deployment or action outside an authorised role.

Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated when services or legal requirements change. The law of England and Wales applies, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction subject to mandatory legal rights.
